Hello,
I read in some car mag that the guilietta and Mito ranges are due to be revised later this year. Anyone know what is to be changed?

Speaking to the Alfa sales manager in our dealer today and he was over at a presentation by ARUK earlier in the week. Apparently Giulietta facelift is interior only.

Couple of other tidbits were that there won't be a 5 door Mito but a new small 5 door hatch between Mito and Giulietta.
The 4C will be here in October, the Giulia will be here early next year, a Sportwagon model will follow and the 4x4 will also be here next year.

Obviously take this whatever way you will but the report is a very positive one and he seemed genuinely enthusiastic.

I agree. I saw a Giulietta waiting at lights across the other side of the road yesterday and I remembered wide and muscular it looks compared to something like an Astra. It would be change for changes sake?
How it can be described as narrow and gawky I cannot understand . If anything the frnt and rear ends dominate ,making it look shorter than some cars of its size.

I think Alfa needs to make the interiors of their cars more luxurious. They are Alfas and need to be different than Fiats
FIAT's interiors are also moving up-market. The 500 was first, but the Panda is a much nicer place to sit than a VW Up.

I agree though - Alfas needs to be beautiful inside as well as out. I sat in a Mk7 Golf (one of the higher-spec trim lines) over the weekend, and while I was impressed with how well finished the interior was, I was very disappointed with the seats (flat, short squab with no thigh support; I wouldn't like to be on them for my 1.5hour commute), the electronic parking brake, and the general lack of imagination in the cabin. It didn't change my opinion that the Volvo V40 has the best interior in the class (I include the Audi A3 in that grouping; another case of well-executed blandness)

The Audi interior is fantastic in its execution after some disappointing recent things like the A4/5 which may be mistaken for blandness ! It has elements of Giulietta like the line of switches but the Golf is curiously oldfasioned in comparison with the big central screen flanked by the link to the centre console. Tactical move I'm sure by VW to avoid substitution sales of golf instead of Audi!
The panda looks good in pictures and the graining on the plastics is interesting but the squercles are overkill !
In my opinion !

Any interior changes being considered ought first to include a move away from lower-grade plastic where currently fitted,
My Mito has a creaky heater control area, armrest and door handles at 13000 miles. I adore the rest of the interior just as it is though.
Giulietta: I've always felt the dashboard design could've been an bit more adventurous and would also love frameless front windows, apart from that, also adorable.
I'd hope the Giulia doesn't suffer with plastic problems and blandness of dash !

Some would argue that frameless doors are a con not a pro, especially at this time of the year ;)

Please tell me you are not one of those people who drives around fondling their dashboard?

Mine buzzes from the center dash when I hit 5500 rpm:thumbs:

Agreed! Time will tell!

Hope you are doing good?

February comes the Mito Facelift! Outside is not much has changed except the lights (DRL) and a few chrome strips. There will also be other colors! Inside, there are other seats and there are a couple of quality materials used! It will again give other equipment lines progression, distinctive and exclusive! The motors will change the 1.4 TB MultiAir (QV)! He now delivers 185 hp! The QV version, there will be even with a TCT transmission!"
