Online Suppliers.
When posting a new recommendation please supply the name & address as well as any other contact details for whoever or whatever you are recommending & I'll update the thread.
One thing to note, not everyone has had a good experience with some of those listed below so do a search of who you are intending to use to see the feedback from all who have contributed to this thread
However there are two who seem to consistently get great feedback & I think they deserve a special mention as they are the first to be recommended to anyone in the area
The second is T.I. Autos in Dublin who also get consistently great feedback & recommendations for anyone looking to get work done on their Alfa in the Dublin area.

Cobh Tyre Market in .... Cobh, Co. Cork
Been taking alfa's to them for over 7 years, they know their stuff and they are fairly priced!
They will help you in any way at all (including christmas eve!!) and have excellent customer service.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Your the one and only person I have EVER heard saying they were happy with Grandons! The horror stories I've heard about them would scare the bejaysus out of you!Oh the horror!!!!!!!!
I have bought both my Alfas from Lee Garage on the South Terrace,0214313344.
They are a little pricey but the care and attention I have received surpasses any other garage I went to.Mick Hennessy is the guy for service and Gavin Jeffreys in sales.
They have a mechanic who knows Alfas inside and out.
I used to work in Waterford and The Sweep garage gas an excellent rep.
Re: Alfa dealers and indepents ye recommend Rep of Ireland
Hi lads, my bella is going in for a big service tomorrow with Gerry Campbell in TI Autos (thanks for the recommendations) but where exactly is it. I remember someone posting a pic here months ago but I cant find it. Google maps gives me a choice of two, I know they are very close but from what I remember from the other thread you can be standing next to it ans still miss it.
Re: Alfa dealers and indepents ye recommend Rep of Ireland
That map link doesn't work.
Anyway, it's on Cowper Street, Dublin 7.
If on the North Circular Road, heading away from the Phoenix Park, you turn right on to Aughrim St. and Cowper St is the second right (opposite a chruch). Ti is down an alley on the LHS.
If coming from the quays, you can come across into Stoneybatter (thru Blackhall Place) and up Manor St until the road forks at a pub-bear left onto Aughrim St. and Cowper St is the second left (still opposite the church!). You can see the route easily enough on Google Maps.

Re: Alfa dealers and indepents ye recommend Rep of Ireland
What about Alasta in Ballsbridge? He's been selling Alfa's for years now. Anyone used for servicing? Good to know about the guy in Stoneybatter though, just bought a 99 spider so waiting for things to go pop.
Re: Alfa dealers and indepents ye recommend Rep of Ireland
I've heard bad things about Alasta. Take it from me seriously if you re in or near Dublin Gerry in Ti is yer only man.
If you are in the Midlands go to a chap called Don Baker. He is based just outside Johnstown Bridge near Enfield. He has been doing Alfas from his garden workshop for years. He has a load of them in his yard for spares. He has a race spec 86 Alfetta GTV6 and two others for spares for it. He races it.
I have brought my 155 to both these lads more than once and there is nobody better. Forget the dealerships in Dublin.
My 159 is due a service this month and wonderered a couple of things if anyone has some views:
- for the newer, more techno complex Alfas, are non-dealer gargages as good e.g. do places like TI Motors have the necessary equipment for such models or are they just better for bodywork/repairs. I'm sure this is what dealerships pray on, but there must be an element of truth to it.
- my official dealership choice is essentially Alasta, Ringsend or Ambrose Glass, Kilternan. Some bad remarks around Alasta above - anyone any comparisons to AG? I called them up yesterday and surprise surprise they both quoted the exact same amount for service (before any parts) of €260 (before VAT). This didn't actually seem too bad, but I'm sure at least another hundred will end up getting added on. How does this compare to the likes of TI?
The day I brought my 155 up there was an 82 sud, a 147, a couple of 156's, a 166..... I'd say he could handle it. Especially if its just a standard service.
