Just wondering if people are interested in a Cork Meet for a chat &/or a meal or a drive before the new year.
How about Sunday the 9th or 16th of December ?
I was thinking of a meet up in the usual place which is in the back of Dunnes Stores Bishopstown car park.
If people just want to meet up for a chat there's the Topaz across the road to fuel up on tea & coffee first & there's also the cafe in Dunnes if the weather isn't the best.
I would be well up for a meet David. Probably won't make it down as far as Cork for it though. If you plan on having a meet further up the country let us know
I realise it's a busy time for most people, which is why I started this thread to gauge if there was enough interest in a meet before starting an Event Thread.
I just thought I'd ask for those who might have wanted to or had the time to attend a meet before the end of the year, 2013 is just around the corner anyway

Any of the locals interested in a meet up for a chat, bite to eat & maybe a drive if that's what people want this side of Xmas ? As suggested in the 1st post we could meet up in Dunnes Stores Bishopstown car park, or if the weather isn't great the underground carpark in Mahon Point SC could be a good option especially if people just want to meet up for a chat as there's plenty of food options in Mahon SC.
I'm usually around most weekends so speak up & if there's enough interest I'll organise something.
I'd be well up for a meet David. If I'm down home in Clare some weekend I could head back to Dublin via Cork
Not sure if I could say a specific date yet but I can always post up here on this thread when I'm heading home I can potentially make it as far as Cork.
I just checked the ole annual leave planner. I'm off work on Friday 29th November. So very possibly will be heading down to Clare on the Thursday night. Could potentially swing by Cork on Saturday on my way back to Dublin if anybody is around. I more than likely can't do the Sunday as it's the first of the month I'd like to get back for the cars and coffee. Just throwing it out there- I'll know more in a week or two if I'm definitely heading home.
That'll work for me, hopefully there's some more interest.
Do people want to just meet up & have a chat with a bit to eat ? That's fine with me & most of ye will probably already have done enough driving just to get down to Cork.
If people want to go for a spin I'm in for that though.
Still alfa-less at the moment. I will have my fathers 159 Ti for a few days over Xmas if there is anything happening.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
