I've just bought a 2017 plate Guilia 180 JTDM-2 Speciale, really pleased with it so far. The menus are all pretty intuitive but I wonder now do you keep the Satnav maps, speed cameras all updated? Any advice will be appreciated, I think I found a menu that wanted a usb stick to update things but...
Do you have to get software updates done by a main dealer or a specialist? Or can a good independent garage do them? (I'm talking about ECU/ engine management software BTW not Blue & Me)
Thanks folks :ponder:
Haven't seen this shared yet - there's a list of Giulia updates and fixes (mostly software) with quite a lot of info available.

I just had my speciale come back after the dealer had it for a few days for replacing the seats, and doing the software updates. I thought this update was supposed to add the text message reader, and add alternative routes for the Nav, and update the maps?
Any ideas how I can check what...

I was going through Jaxx's old thread and I would have loved to see how all of those droolworthy bits were going to come together.
Why do computers and consoles need so many damned updates?
