I read that as the phrase "19 and a responsible driver" was an oxymoron ;)

So true.

I touched 135mph once when I first had it to see what it could do and it didn't take long to get there. I've gotta say I love the amount of push you've still got in a TB155 even above 90. Crazy little motor!

Guys, learn from my experience. This kind of thread does us as a whole no good, if I was Donald Campbell and my Alfa did 200mph on the road, most people would be outraged!!
My 147 goes so fast the police couldn't belieive the first reading so they shot me twice with their laser gun and it cost me ÂŁ400 and a chat with the magistrate and his mates! To be fair they asked me if they banned me, would I give up work and I said I would crawl to work if I had to and they let me keep my licence. Thing is, it was in the middle of the night and the only person I could have hurt besides myself was some beardy weirdy bully copper hiding in the hedge.
For someone like me the Magistrates court is pretty scary and I was being done just for speeding, no-one got hurt and it cost the country nothing!! I'm not trying to spoil anyone's fun and I believe modern cars are developed and endorsed by governments to do a lot more than our draconian laws allow. Don't be a victim of the law, it's bordering on entrapment!! (not admissable in UK law)

Speed doesn't kill.
Why have lots of power, if you don't use it?
Is your life so good you don't want to risk it?
You know the engine and not only, need some hard pushups to be helthy, clean and powerly!
**** happens sometimes.
Why some highways in germany, at some place, time and wheather conditions don't have speed limit? Are germans fools?
Do you go to church and pay all your taxes? :)

Too true mate keep it to yourself or close friends you can trust, and not broadcast over the internet, I wonder how many rozzers own Alfas..
I wonder if you thought about that, along with your statements of excess speed and lovely photos of your car on this site.. doesn't that make you a marked man in this Orwelien society with all the camera's about.
