Hi, I recently just bought an alfa romeo brera, whereas the car I have been driving on the regular is an alfa romeo Mito.

I was wondering what the clutch feel on the brera is like? As I find mine to be quite sticky, ie. I find it hard to feel the biting point, often it is either the clutch is fully released or pressed. I was wondering could this be an issue with the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder? The clutch pedal does definitely come up the full way through. Or is this simply how the clutch is?

I can't say the clutch is any different to any other car I've driven - it's less stiff than my 147, but has the same feel as most other things.

Initially I'd start with new fluid and a proper bleed, then go from there.

Any previous history of clutch/gearbox work??

What is supposed to be so bad about the 2.2 clutch? My Spider one is perfectly normal - other than being very light, but that's more noticeable because one of my cars has an extremely heavy clutch. Other than that, it's just like any other clutch.

Don't see why not, it's common DOT4 fluid, which is shared with the braking system, as in same reservoir (unless separate on the 2.2)you most likely won't need 5 litres though!
