Well, I'm sure we have all been there, trying to get those faded external plastics back to black. Well I invested in a tiny little bottle of Gtechniq C4 permanent trim restorer a couple of weeks ago and finally got to play with it today
The product comes with a few little application pads, but you will also need a microfibre cloth to wipe it down afterwards, you won't be able to use the cloth again after as they say you could scratch the paintwork (crystals get inbedded into the fabric).
This will only work with faded trim, it didn't 'mask' or clear up any patchy plastics like on my wing mirrors.
I can't give it a score yet as it all depends on whether it will last.
I have already used a quarter of C4 (A, B and C pillar plastics) so it doesn't go too far, and very expensive for such a little amount, they claim it should last for around 2 years or so the investment of ÂŁ22.50 will be worth it........but only time will tell!
