Ok I have removed the clip and then plugged it back in no joy,

I have noticed since I have had this problem when i start the car its not reving correctly.

Anything else I can try

Hi, I just used alfadiag for the first time tonight as my 147 sele would not start (was in neutral, but display read R). Anyway, I followed Smaky's thread and adjusted the clutch rod, bled the clutch using AD, and the calibrated using EOL service. N came up as soon as calibration started, and fired up on the turn of the key. I was terrified I had major probs. before using AD. I would say don't worry too much till you can use Alfadiag. :thumbs:

I am waiting to try and get AD however been told I wont get the interface cable till around next friday

Oh, know what you mean, I had to wait all week. I know the instinct is to "fiddle", but I recommend leaving until you get the interface. Have you downloaded AD yet, as that is a bit of a faff. If you have someone coming round, surely they will have the cable.

not really ! its a faultcode from my sele when I was testing cables , could reset it and it did not come back (yet)

Ordered the cable today will try and download the software tonight if poss do I need to pay for the full version or can I get away with using the free trial ??

Just want to thank Bobda as he has said he will come round as he has got the cable and AD but thought may aswel just invest in the thing myself.
