After 8,500 miles (4,500 by myself) I can report that the Brera finally seems to have bedded itself in.
Initial niggles with a notchy gearbox and early bite to the clutch appears to have smoothed out with both running as smooth as silk (once it’s good and hot that is). The last two weeks and a return journey of 550 miles each way seems to have done the trick. Oh and I don't know what's heppened to the exhaust system but it sounds soooo much better.
After the long runs the gearbox now seems to move quick and slick between gears and the bite point of the clutch has moved up off the carpet making the changes even easier. It’s quite surprising how much difference this makes if you are trying to throw it about a bit and my recommendation of an ideally suited road has to be the A68 from Newcastle to the borders then the A7 to Edinburgh.
My regards to you all … one happy Brera owner
