Later 156 only have a wear indicator on one side....also I do not have a pad wear indicator on the car on the pads have one fitted.
i can agree with that! decided to upgrade after a near miss doing an emergency stop in heavy rain (ones on it were so poor couldn't even get ABS to kick in!). these are 10x better, although the pedal is still softer than i would like, maybe better with new fluid?or even DS2500 in the front if you can afford them. The braking from those pads is stunning.
7mm isn't a preferred size - it's only used for vehicle brakes - so it's not included in standard hex driver sets. The thinking behind using 7mm was to discourage "do-it-yourself" pad fitting by using a size which was intended to be a "dealer only" tool! Also found out I have every possible hex size other than 7mm - sod it.
The "studs" you can see are on the backplate!Chris said:You old pads have also worn down to the metal studs so you should check that you don't have some bad gouges on the disk itself.
I suggest you change the details on your website then, as it is still showing 449s for the V6.You have the PP449 which are meant for the smaller engined cars.
You actually need the PP229 for your model car.
Black Diamond have apologised for the mix up and i hope this has not reflected poorly on the service from MSW. We would have come back to you sooner but it has taken till this evening to identify the problem.
Thank youMSW, good service.
They are in the process of being changed as we speak so should be all corrected by around noon. Then we should have the only correct listing for your cars on the webI suggest you change the details on your website then, as it is still showing 449s for the V6.![]()
