The clutch will be fine if it is in good condition, remaps tend to highlight wear and tear, so it may start to slip when it didn't before if it is getting on in life.

If it is a stage 1 map it should be fine with everything else as standard.

Decent tyres and making sure that your brakes and suspension are in good shape is also worthwhile. The extra torque may cause torque steer issues if the front wishbone bushes are worn for instance.

 

200/320 is a more realistic number for a stage 1 remap though, but I don't expect the clutch to last with that torque

 

You mean probably more torque since as factory standard it has 350Nm.

Ups, sorry... I now saw that torque was in lbs/ft.

I'm mostly worried about gearbox since somewhere I read it was designed up to 400 Nm (295 lbs/ft).

 

Bear in mind that 350nm is the design limit for the Giulietta's C635 gearbox....and they are not the strongest...
It was the old F40 from the 159 2.0 JTDm that has the 400nm limit...

 

Is that the same limit for the TCT box also?
