Now I do like some BMWs (current 3 Estate for example) but the X6 must be the ugliest thing they ever designed!

 

If I was after a big 'bumble bus' The Chevy Epica? would fit the bill, at about £13 K? That would be a cost conscious exercise at purchase, but I'd never be able to afford to run the thing.:lol:

I'm not a huge fan of the styling of the current BMW range. The 1-series is a complete mess especially in coupe and cabrio form, I hate the 6 but that thing is a monstrosity. It looks like they've taken the design for three completely different cars and pissed about with sellotape and scissors.

i actually quite like the X6, id never buy or drive one in a million years but on the road they look quite good, obviously they are all driven by ***** and are utterly pointless cars but i just think there is something about them, i think if they were made by anyone other than bmw more people would like them.

They make perfect sense to me. Great for bumping

Most 4x4's are pointless inasmuch as they're not needed by the people who buy them. I passed three in a row going in the opposite direction on a narrow country lane yesterday and guess who had to go onto the verge on all three occasions (clue - it was the car that didn't have 4wd)? Eejits driving them either didn't have a clue how wide they were or didn't want to get their tyres dirty.
