It's been raining quite a lot recently here in Poland and I noticed I keep having water in the boot lock. Anyone observed the same thing?

Getting mine looked at this week.

Also have a dribble of water up the middle of the back window (inside) when I lift the boot sometimes, and after this weeks torrential rain.. for the first time.. water actually dribbling out of the joins in the interior plastic trim of the boot lid when I lift it up.

I get this intermittently. From what I have read on the forum in the past, it seems very common problem. My dealer has looked at it twice and is having it back for another go when parts for nav trim come in. The last time they looked at it they seemed to think it was coming from rear wiper mount.
If you have this issue and think it is not major. Make sure you check the spare wheel compartment. On mine the water runs down through the hole in the plastic trim for the latch and builds up in the wheel well. Not good.

Visited the dealer today - Alfa sent them solution for the problem - 3 small gaskets in the boot lid have to be changed. Unfortunately they haven't got any yet.

Maybe we're thinking about the same thing - excuse me my English, please... 3 small gum parts (maybe you can call them "plugs"). What do you mean by "box section" exactly?

I also got those plugs replaced yesterday by the dealer like the service sheet tells. Been raining whole night here so I checked the boot this morning. Result is still the same, still water there. Next trip to the dealer in august.
Maybe I should just take them out so it drains better like on cue2's car..:)

Since the dealer is on summer holiday I tried to investigate the problem myself. Found out that it appears to be the rear wiper arm seal.

I removed the plastic cover from the inside from the trunk( 2 screws and 4 clips) so I had a full view on it. Then I simulated some rain I saw on the inside that the water is getting in along the wiper seal.
Its not much but its enough to slowly fill the very small edge just under the window, when thats full it just drops down.
It drops down either towards the plug hole in the center, so the water gets out(with the new plug) or in my case down to the boot look and spare wheel compartiment.

I'll give it a try and start with sealing out & inside wiper seal with loctite. Could also replace the rubber but as its the same part it maybe could happen again in a year or so I think.

Just picked the car back up...

New seal on the rear wiper arm fitted .... waiting for three new rubber bungs (vented) that fit in the bottom of the rear hatch door.

Apparently there is an 'open campaign' by Alfa for this warranty fix

When my car was in for the rattles I mentioned about water pooling in the boot lock they replaced the bungs for vented ones but there is still some pooling so looks like the wiper arm seal needs changing ....

Mines been in today - solution: realign the tailgate. Had the hose on it and now it doesn't leak! apparently. Definitely needs more effort to solve it.

Also changed offside door speaker because that was cutting out intermittently from start up and tried to solve rattle on nearside front window by lubricating it. We'll see how we get on.

Those were the words they used. Compared to the way it used to shut the bump stops are wound right in and it needs a good slam. Looking at the shut line across the roof (roof to tailgate) the tailgate is definitely tighter to the bodywork.

Part of my problem was that when you opened the tailgate there was a bead of water around the edge of the rubber seal as well as water in the well so to speak. Anyway, we'll see how it goes in the rain.
