Anyone know of a reason why my infotainment system is not recognising the fact that there are memory sticks in both USB ports?
They are all shaded out on the screen and so are not selectable

Will check as you suggest rjc but I had assumed they would be on a fused circuit with other accessories and I haven't noticed anything else not working.
Just checking if there is a fuse identification chart in the handbook.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Just as a starting point, if you haven’t already done this, I would take both sticks out and check they are working ok in a PC. Then try a completely different stick if you have one, format it FAT32 and try it in the slots. It doesn’t need to have anything on it, just see if it is recognised by the system.

Okay, this problem is with our Stelvio, I posted on the Giulia site because it gets better responses.
I also have a Giulia with two memory sticks in use.
All four memory sticks work in the Giulia, none of them is recognised in the Stelvio, so I think it is safe to assume the sticks are fine.
There seems to be no power at the ports in the Stelvio as one of the sticks has a flashing diode which does not flash in the Stelvio.
When the Stelvio had its last service in September, the infotainment system software was updated, which makes me wonder.

I saw your earlier post outlining your problem but was waiting to see if anyone with the latest model could confirm if this was yet another downgrade, which you really need to know. Maybe check on a new vehicle in the showroom.
Ours just stopped working after a year. New part fitted, eventually, under warranty.
