Hi I am thinking of getting a turbo kit from autodelta for my 2.0 TS 147 but unfortunatly I am a bit of a novice when it comes to engines and dont understand all the terms for instance on the description the mod is described as phase 3 does this mean I need to do other mods first before I can get a turbo and the acompanying remap and there is 2 kits which do I want.
I have gone over most of the posts on this but they dont answer my questions so any advice would be appreciated.

Yeah that maybe the answer I just wanted to go in there with a bit of knowledge so that I dont sound like an idiot that just wants to go fast I keep asking my mate who has a mk 3 golf that has about 230 Bhp but he is starting to get fed up and I think a bit worried that he wont be able to so easily leave me for dust. Its gonna be a while before I can raise that sort of cash so I have time .

Thanx;)

Just remember, whenever you get more power, its not long before you want even more.... When I got my RX-7 it felt ridiculously quick with 255BHP; then it started to feel a little pedestrian, got induction, exhaust, remap and its up to 270BHP; thats now starting to feel slow; unfortunately, next step is quite pricy as I'll need a different management system. The point is, once you start modifying cars and get into the mindset, its a slippery slope..... How much would it cost to trade in for a GTA instead, vs the cost of the turbo package? That way you get the brakes and suspension to go with it.
