Cayman seemed to know what they were doing, but rather pricey. They quoted ÂŁ816 (inc VAT) to replace all 4 gas struts, but circa ÂŁ80 for struts from SGS and I've just fitted them, whahey! The 200N ones were easy to remove with the rear of the hood up and easy to just clip into place with the hood completely closed. Removing the 100N ones was more of a fiddle, since it's all by feel, but managed using a 3x150mm slot head screwdriver to loosen the spring clips. Didn't need to release any of the interior lining.
The guys in Cheshire were very helpful with email advice.

Next issue - sort out the paint loss at the bottom of the wheel arches behind the front wheels...

Planning a NC500 run during May 2025.

That is an expensive quote if that was really all they were doing. It took me about an hour to change four struts and I expect they’d be much quicker.

Yes, to assembly you do it from the inside. That's why its easier when you loosen the roof lining. To dissassembly you may try to do it with the arc up, from outside, struts are partially visible and probably will not be too strong.
I did disassembly and assembly from the inside.
In any case, roof cover should be up, vertical, with flaps extended. Then you can move the arc up and down.
I have also problems with the roof from spider, it is not operating at all, it say not finisched cycle. But it is completly closed, wat this can be, about where in Poland do you live i am near Torun.
