I had a horrible feeling you were going to say that! I just read on another post someone was saying there oil was red and was probably due to somebody using power steering fluid. My oil is red and I was just assuming this was the correct colour......am slightly concerned now although not experiencing any real problems!
Tutela CS,is clear as David said, people use dexron 3 ATF which is read, but i know of cases were Alfa have not honoured waranty on actuators because the fluid wasnt the standard gold colour!
Hopefully not too many actuators fail during warranty, regardless of the colour of DexronIII spec lubricant. Strange as ours was red, when she was just three years old at 7,7000 miles and stayed red until we sold her after four years of ownership, and stayed red for thereon. Maybe someone had changed it from the original? Anyway she worked fine.:
I always use the Castrol Dextron III,, the specs are identical but the price is 1/3.
