the 76mm pipe must fit the diameter of your maf sensor because thats before your airbox correct ? sorry im asking so many questions i wanna do this conversion but to a standard airbox :)

Correct indeed

That would be the resinator :)
Mostly to do with sound AFAIK
Ta :D
I always figured that had something to do with Helmholtz resonance, so would help airflow at certain RPM (or at several certain RPMs for second, third harmonics). Same for the equivalent dead-end branch on the underside of the intake pipe.

Obviously the intake runner length would be the dominating Helmholtz effect, so if 1of1 didn't notice any negative performance impact of removing the chamber from the intake I guess it's effect wasn't very large to begin with.

You could :D - looks only TBH

Isn't that the intake 'trumpet' ?
Without doing a rolling road session it would be hard to know if there's been any improvement, but there was no detectable drop :D

Shame i could of quoted for the silicon etc...oh well

Hi all, very good idea i thought to it too..
I have one question ,because i can't find a pipe 76mm, would be a problem to get 80mm and tight it up?
And i found air filter for bike's it seem's to be good.I thing is small enough .Can it do the job?...

76mm or 3 inch is the internal diameter of the tube, so you will probably be ok with 80mm external diameter , allowing 2mm wall thickness of the silicon hose;)

What kind of bike? Even the most powerful bikes can't get above 175bhp and your car is 192bhp as standard so fitting an air filter for a super bike that isn't up to or beyond your power rating already will strangle the engine.

These may help:

You can make two kits out of this.

This is the filter I use, rated at 260bhp and fits nicely inside your existing air filter box to protect it from heat soak and water.
