According to the handbook for a 2011 model they are H3. The handbook then goes on to say that to change the bulb contact Alfa Romeo Authorised Services. Typically information at cross purposes.
You need to take the forward part of the undertray off and access the bulb/lamp from the back.
Before you change the bulb though, be aware that each foglamp has an individual fuse in the fuse box under eh steering wheel - when I bought my car one foglamp had failed and been the source of (invoiced to the previous owner!) investigative work..... fixed by replacing the fuse, no new bulb......
Fuse is F92 shown on page 189 in the owner manual. Note the image is upside-down compared to the fuse box really. The long line of fuses has F92 and it is a 7.5A. one.
Strictly speaking the forward under tray is part of the bumper according to the parts listing. Whatever it is, it's nuisance with all those screws to remove.
The fog lamp is shown in the corner of the diagram.
If you need a fuse puller there's one under the lid of the fuse box in the engine compartment.
Must admit I don’t know what year the manualslib version is for. I’ve got a 2010 G and there are two fuses for the fogs. I always thought that was overdoing it and there’s no reason it would need two. Looks like they changed it the following year though so your advice will be the one to follow armoore
I meant the page number is different. Two fuses, one for each side so F92 and F93 are correct with F92 for the LHS (op's car has the LH one u/s at the moment).
I managed to replace the left fog light bulb. It was tight and fiddly job!
Now two weeks later the right one has gone....
Is it same procedure? I am afraid it’s a more complicated job, since the air filter box is in the area above/behind the right fog lamp.
Anyone here that has done this?
Hahaha, done both of mine, though I did mine the unofficial way.... pop the fog covers off the bumper, remove the whole fog light by undoing the 3 torx screws and then changing the bulbs sat in the warmth of my kitchen lol. Found that i snapped a few of the clips holding the plastic in place on the passenger side but, they actually stays in there fine with only one clip left.
