Has anyone had problems getting the variator off on a 147 1.6?
Got the parts (from EB Spares, cheap and very quick service) (and some expert assistance) to do the cambelt and variator on Saturday, and everything was going to plan until we couldn't get the bloody diesel sounding variator off
Triply frustrating in that we had to put the car back to together as I needed it for work with the old variator still in there, we ran out of time to fit the CSC oval backbox, and until the variator is replaced I can't get my remap done :rant:
