Anyone had this before? I've had it a few time now and is fine if reset.

It's relates to the DPF temperature sensor but I'm not sure if it's a poor connection or if the sensor itself is likely to be faulty.

The error only occurs on starting the car so I'm wondering if a regen gets interrupted somehow ?

It's happened to me about 4 times in the time I've had the car (2 years). I simply reset with MES and can find no other relates issues. MES reports the DPF in reasonably good order so I don't think anything serious is involved.

Like I said, I get the impression the car might be just about to go into a passive regen mode just as the engine gets turned off - which leads to this error being generated when started again. I suppose it could just as easily be a bad connection too.

The only downside is I tend to put my laptop & cable set in the boot now, on any really long journey, just I case I might need to reset it

It will be the pre DPF sensor then

I am on the high seas, the foreman thought to be something due to dpf .... He told me that he could also be a problem of low battery voltage. I do not know what to do!
The official AR line is check for bad/damaged connections to the sensor and if you can't find any then change it.

I'm hoping it's the former as the sensor is ÂŁ150

Car's going in Wednesday.

My local Indy couldn't find any defects with the wiring, and their diagnostics reported inconsistent readings from the sensor, so they fitted a new one. Total cost = ÂŁ143.35 which I didn't think was too bad as it's only the first problem in two years.

What's really odd though is it seems to have changed the characteristics of the engine. There seems to be a little less low down torque whilst economy seems to be improved (which would make sense). I can't figure how the sensor could make such a change though as assumed it was only used for DPF regeneration
