Number plate replacement - any gotchas?

I'd like to replace my front number plate - it's a bit faded and grey and drags down the overall appearance of the car from the front.

It's in a curved holder just below the radiator air intake. The only thing I'm concerned about is whether the new plate will have to be bent by the supplier to fit it, or whether that's something I can do myself.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi, I have just replaced both my number plates and found that the front plate needed to be secured with 2 screws because of the curve but I was able to stick on the rear plate using the sticky pads provided by the company that made up the plates and, touch wood, it seems to be fine.
