I double checked that the plates I bought weren't going to be rigid.. but that was it

 

It is a gentle bend so shouldnt be a problem, u can warm it up slightly if its too stiff, but the screws on either end of the plate should hold in place well.

 

Hi, I have just replaced both my number plates and found that the front plate needed to be secured with 2 screws because of the curve but I was able to stick on the rear plate using the sticky pads provided by the company that made up the plates and, touch wood, it seems to be fine.

 

Heat it up with a good hairdryer in the middle.
Or a heat gun, which would be better, if you have one.

 

Used six high tac double sided stick pads on two GTVs now works a treat and no screws, good luck

 

I've also stuck plates on the front of my 2 GTVs with no problems. It's best to avoid screwing them on if you can as that's always where they become de-laminated.
