Ive spent the last 3 days after work cleaning it so now its really really green :D. I'll post some pics up of it when i get time but when i clay barred it, all i could hear was the noise similar to what sandpaper makes :(. I could see it changing colour when i was doing it  completely killed a pack of clay but its looking even more awesome now :D. just the wheels, tyres and interior to do tomorow before heading off to santa pod on sunday :)

Thanks :)The RS doesn't come in orange, thats for the ST. The 3 RS colours are blue, green & white. there is black but thats for the RS 500 which are about ÂŁ35k-ÂŁ40k i think
And it's not a real black, it's a vinyl wrap! I test drove one when they first came out and loved that engine but that was when we were having dreadful winters and I reckoned I'd be stuck at home, unable to work, in the RS so bought a Scooby STI instead. But I'm VERY interested in the new RS....

 ive heard the new fiesta ST is really good too
The Focus ST narrowly lost out the GQV when I chose mine last year. I suspect, if it'd been the older 5 cyl, the Focus would have been in the lead! The Fiesta gets great reviews but there's still rumours of an RS version of that! Alfa seriously need a Giulietta GTA to stay in touch!

Its gloss black with a matt black wrap so a bit strange. not sure what the reason behind the wrap was though?. The new RS will be good, its just not as in your face as the Mk2, suppose its going back to the mk1 as that is a lot more subtle.

Pics of the clean though.....

Tar remover

Never used this 1 before but really good stuff-

Clayed

I only done this small section of bumper, not even up to the reverse sensors..

Bit manky

This was from about 1/4 of the roof :(

Fabulous car and colour !
Looking at it makes me think what a modern day group B rally car for the road would look like.
cheers  Whenevr i look at it i just think racecar  especially from side on where you can see the rear spoiler & how the rear window slopes off. i love it :D

Like the gold flecks in the paint
it didnt really show up before it was cleaned, soon as the sun hits it now though you can see it a mile off

Nice to see you in a 'proper' car again since moving your GTA on LJ!! I know you did a lot to the Guilietta but I've never been a big fan of them.
However everyone LOVES a fast Ford....especially in a bright colour!!

Enjoy

Cheers mate  its just a massive change to anything ive had before, most things on Alfa's are similar between thier models but this is just completely different  went up to Spring Alfa Day at duxford today and a few people saw it in the carpark and obviosuly knew it was mine straight away and everyone had something good to say about it (well, most anyway>:)) i dont think photo's do it any justice but to see it up close people soon change their minds :D
