injector cleaning..

Firstly has anyone done it? Or i should say had it done?
Talking about full service with ultrasonic clean etc.
Secondly is it worthwhile?

Have a very lumpy idle and pick up problems at the minute. Not paying £170 each for new ones just on the off chance that's the problem.
Wondering if this is worth a try as its only about 12-15 quid per injector.

Any thoughts people?

Got all mine done on a 1989 3 series touring I own, by a company Injectortune I think...

Well worth it, on something of that gae, got an instant 2-3 mpg increase, that was in conjunction with a full service so perhaps not all down to the injectors...

He had a deal on which was a £10 per injector plus £6 in postage, well worth it...

Hi Andy, I had my Injectors cleaned on the spider, I used this guy and he gives you a print out of the progress gained with his work.

Hi Andy, you been at those spanners again

The V6 engines don't suffer form injector issues unlike the JTS or JTD engines
