ANother barnfind..... 1977 AlfaSud Ti..... absolutely original , virtually no rust, good interior..... no running motor.
It does have papers , de-registered 15 years ago when it was parked in a barn.

Will take pics on Sunday when I go wrestle it out of the barn.....

I got it for a steal..... these cars in restored condition can go for 18 k pounds in the UK.....

Pics as promised..... I know it looks bad, but the cracks in the paint are really minor.... bad paint job rather than filler lifting, I might even be able to polish it out

It was originally yellow :smoker::smoker::smoker::smoker::smoker::smoker:, so if I restore it will be yellow like my breadvan:smoker::smoker::smoker::smoker:

Original books, papers, extra set of good seats, extra (and uber rare) boot spoiler in basically new condition, and a set of original Alfa mudflaps still in plastic ( mudflaps sort of suit 1970s cars :paperbag:).........all this for R1700.... yes.....R1700. I have spent more than that on a family dinner :smash:

Avi, not sure, people in Alfa circles hear about these mythical "barn-find cars" and because everyone knows I am a Sud addict (Suddict :paranoid: )they let me know..... in this case the owner is emigrating to Aus, so he called around to get rid of the cars on his plot.... Kevin(AK) let me know about this one.

Anyone interested in buying this project from me ? Just thinking of practicality and the fact that I am still busy with my '84 Sud and then I still have my Bertone GTV project that has stalled due to lack of funds
The car is still at the previous owner's property since I do not have space to store it yet

Any reasonable offers.......

Yesterday I got Frost to help me move the car to a private storage facility..... It may be there for a while :)

Decided to bite the bullet and restore this one too. I have most of the parts that are not good anymore stashed away somewhere anyway. Need some funds to pay for a proper paint job but disassembly / assembly will be down to me..... anyone interested in helping ?

The stripping has started

Since I needed to get started on something.....
There must have been a special on body filler when the repair on the front valance was done..... I think I will chop up the donor car and replace the whole thing.

The original yellow is still inside the boot, so I can match that again..... love the yellow.

There is some rust in the A pillar box section, although I can probably just cut that out. to be honest I expected more severe issues. The fender will most likely also be replace with one from the donor car.

The previous owner told me the motor was not running.... however the cam-belts are intact and I could turn the motor with a ratchet and heard no ominous noises.... turned fairly easily too, AND, the oil was still really clean, no evidence of water
