Hello fellow alfisti,
my beautiful baby has recently had her clutch master + slave changed. I was told my car was A cf2 engine and the usual rule of thumb is to check if the car is ulez exempt. If it is it’s a CF3, if not, a cf2.
While my car is not ulez exempt I had assumed it was a cf2 for the time.
While changing the clutch master I order a cf2 rhd cylinder from Alfa workshop, when it came to fitting the part, the existing one was about half the length.
after speaking to Alfa workshop, they said it looks likeI have a cf3 car as it was the cf3 cylinder. They assume Alfa Romeo have incorrectly registered my car when it was first manufactured.
TLDR; how to I identify my car as either a CF2 or CF3.
And can someone confirm if that ulez rule of thumb is true?
many thanks.
