I have the full version of multiscan and an elm 327 cable that works properly, would I be able to enable the auto lights with this cable.?
If you can connect to the body computer and Proxi configuration section just below Body Computer Module in MES then most likely yes.

According to MES site you need just ELM that works. See attached.

You need to select Auto headlight and auto headlight indicator both to yes, execute and then run Proxi alignment option at the top of the selection list.
After most Proxi alignment the ABS system throws errors and you will need the correct cable to connect to the ABS module and then reset steering angle to 0 by physically position the steering in the middle and see if the angle parameter is showing 0 degrees the do the brake, tilt and steering calibrations followed by clearing all the errors in the ABS module.

@Cybrnite, I see you’re in Leeds. I am in Cheshire........
Hi Dave, where about in Cheshire are you? I'm in Chesterfield and would very much like to enable auto high beam and look into ACC. Any chance I could persuade you to assist? I do have family in Sandbach and Middlewich who I'll visiting in the next month or so if that's easier.

Cheers

Rob

You need the button and harness or, a new steering wheel with the button.

So if you have the kit can it be enabled by MESU? I'm reading stuff that needs "Witech" software?
You don't trust me ? 😱

Yep MES (not U).;)

The dealers almost absolutely certainly in all likelihood be unwilling to enable ACC+ or auto headlights due to legal reasons and changing vehicle configuration.

Hi Rob,
Auto High Beam can be activated on any Giulia that has the camera in the windscreen provided the car doesn’t have the Security Gateway (SGW) introduced around Fed 2018 (pretty sure that’s right), unless you have a SGW bypass fitted, as sold by @epsonix.
If your Giulia is as above, we can arrange to meet when you’re travelling to see your relatives or, I’d be more than happy to meet you half way, Buxton, Tideswell, Baslow maybe, as I did with @Cybrnite. It’s really just a five minute job to activate Auto High Beam. The opportunity of a nice drive out is reward enough for me (although @Cybrnite also kindly bought me a coffee).
To activate ACC+, as @metalgod23 said, you DEFINATELY need the button on the steering wheel for the distance control adjustment as well as meeting all the criteria described above. You also need the radar in the grill which I’m pretty sure all UK spec cars have anyway. It’s pretty straight forward to do but is a bigger job. Changing the steering wheel, activating ACC+ and recalibration a number of car systems, took me about 2 hours overall.
if you’re interested, PM me and we can arrange a date and time.

Nothing apart from ensuring you make sure both the 'Auto High Beam' and 'Auto high beam indicator' or whatever that option is called are enabled. Both of these are under Body Computer》Proxi setting. Remember to run Proxi alignment afterwards. This option is at the top of the Proxi setting page IIRC.

I have auto high beam on my Giulia from new, never use it though, I just instinctively dip. A bit like do I test (trust) the auto forward collision?

The auto high beam works very well. Never had it before until I enabled it. You do have to pull on the stalk to activate it which I don't bother sometimes. It's good to have it though.

You don't need a clock spring or anything too complicated. Either a new steering with the ACC button or remove the button module and replace with one that has ACC button. I personally went with a replacement steering. It has been a while so my mind is a little rusty. @MR D4VE did it more recently.
