Are you saying it feels like its holding back until 2.5K then its ok? Mine had these symptoms with a faulty lambda, though it did log a load of errors in the ecu.

 

Thanks... I will get the lambda replaced. Any ideas on were it is on a 2.0 cf2 engine

 

I would see what a diagnostics check throws up first!

 

At the front end of the exhaust near the back end of the engine, you'll need some nut release solvent to make un-doing the lamda sensor a lot easier and long arms to undo the clips holding the lamda sensor wiring which runs to the top end of the engine near the engine ecu.
