Dropping litter In Croydon,
can lead too ?

Two police being beaten up by a mob of
30,persons.

How is this?

Police told a young girl too pick
up litter,which she had dropped.

one thing led to another,

resulting in her arrest, and release on bail.
and the two police officer`s
being treated in the local hospital.

One being treated for bites!

Please please,
do not tell me it`s the
fault of the parents.

One sad and confused luddite.:(

John.

Well someone brought these children up to be scum. It might not be 100% the parents fault, but can they claim no collusion in the attitudes of their children?

A girl who was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault has been released on bail.

She should have been stuck in a cage with the rest of the wild animals involved, bloody ignorant savages.

Hi,Mr.Caine:)

Have just popped in
prior too my departure
off too meet my friends for our
friday night out.

I was last in Croydon, in 1978,
seems as though things have changed.

But come on Guys,
30 ONTO TWO,
thats mob rule
no matter which way you
look at it?

The report I read failed
failed too mention if
these creatures parents were
part of the mob.

I`ve no doubt that our
little group will have
the answer to this problem,
If I survive the walk to and from
the local.

John. Night all. :)

The "children" are influenced by their parent's behaviour, and that of their peers. There is no discipline in the home or the school, and the kids can get away with anything. If they do anything wrong, there is no deterrent, no corporal punishment - they may get an asbo, exclusion from school or community service. Wouldn't surprise me if the parents were involved in the assault.
Don't like what society has turned into, no respect for property or people, no morality or values.
Yes, put the animals in cages for the public to see, then hose them down with freezing cold water.

I laughed :cheese: my head off when i heard this. I'm all for LAW and ORDER :tut: but I've seen the police throw their weight around, so every once and awhile it's nice that they get a taste of their own medicine.

#13 ·
Ouch that's a bit harsh don't you think :tut: ... I personally haven't seen 30 policemen gang up on 2 civilians ... no matter how arrogant someone is this level of violence is never justified

it's called poetic justice, I don't care if you don't agree with it... Lets get one thing Crystal Clear guys, I ain't STUPID so don't insult my intelligence and secondly it's a very valid comment. I hope you mugs get caught on the wrong side of the law and get stitched up for something you never done, only for it to have a profound affect on your working life because then you will see where I'm coming from! and YES, this stuff still happens in modern day britain

#22 ·
@rainski: in all fairness lad, I find nothing poetic or justifying about the actions that were taken in Croydon.
Don't get me wrong, I hate the shades, really i do. I find them to be a bunch of power-tripping **** wits who are compensating for a lack of respect in their youth by taking a job that forces people to respect them (to an extent).

What I'm saying is, while I despise the cops, I still don't see them as having deserved that beating.

And to be honest by saying "I ain't STUPID" and "stitched up for something you never done" actually won't show people that you're not stupid..... in fact it could be taken to show quite the opposite.

You said "YES, this stuff still happens in modern day britain"
Yes, it may do... that still doesn't make it right though, does it?

#26 ·
I think it would be an idea if rainski explained why he's got such a low opinion of the police, it sounds as though something has happened to him in the past to taint his view...

conversely, throwing insults his way because he expressed an opinion is not too clever either without a few more facts....

all this has done, though, is remind me why I haven't stepped foot in Croydon for over 3 years...

You're dead right actually, and I was wrong to throw an insult.

But to be honest, I would expect an intelligent person - even if they have had a horrible experience with a policeman in the past - to be above thinking that a mod attack on two policemen is a good thing.

Gosh!
Never thought my little
said posting would
raise so much!

For I thought that
the throwing of litter
on our public streets
was an offence by law.
and an offence too
one`s eyes?

I Fear that the rot has set in,
when such actions by a mob,
against the few which
was both sickening,
and not the least bit British.
is seen to be condoned by
any member of,
this Forum,or Britsh soceity
as a whole.

WHY,even my friend
whilst walking back
fom the local last night
refused too walk past a group of teenagers
electing too walking up another street,
putting aleast another 800yrds
on our walk ,this in the rain:eek:

I will close now but anyone
not feel with me that
it`s kind of tragic and not the
least bit poetic,

That persons can turn into mobs,
when the law of
this little island is being upheld.

"Whats the word I`m looking for?"

Oh, I`ve got it,

`ANARCHY`

John a simple luddite.

You're spot on Luddite. You want an indication of exactly what is wrong with society? It's not that things like this can happen - it's that anyone can see fit to condone such barbaric behaviour.

This is an example of how sad and violent society is today in the UK.
Could you imagine even 2 years ago 30 thugs beating up 2 coppers?.
These people do not fear anyone and do not repect anyone.
I read in the papers today that the parents of the girl arrested have complained that it has 'ruined the start of the summer holidays' for the family concerned-says it all realy.

Another article in the Telegraph has this :

"Whilst we would never use the term mob, which is an inflamatory word, we can confirm that eye witnesses have discussed their initial fears that officers were going to be seriously injured or killed."

. The disrespect, not only for people who might be in the police but anyone older.”

someone pass me a gun I want to shoot myself

Morning,All.:)

Sad thing is at there will
be readers of this forum,
wondering what the fuss
is all about.

Be thankful that you are not
in the same holiday area
as this family, Raylek.

And Ray, save that gun if
you are able too own one!
you may need it too protect
all that you hold
so dear.:(

"Whilst we would never use the term mob, which is an inflamatory word, we can confirm that eye witnesses have discussed their initial fears that officers were going to be seriously injured or killed."

Both men are on sick leave as they recover from the attack.

A 15-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of assault, and two men aged 34 and 38 have also been detained on suspicion of assault and violent disorder.

One of the police officers who was attacked, who did not want to reveal his name, said that he feared for his life and added: “It amazes you, it actually depresses you, the state of children today. The disrespect, not only for people who might be in the police but anyone older.”

Note the first sentence  "Whilst we would never use the term mob, which is an inflamatory word,
So the police cannott call a mob a mob anymore because its inflamatory, someone pass me a gun I want to shoot myself

#31 ·
Let's not beat about the bush, this was an extreme act of cowardice, carried out by a mob. There was an incident about 15 years ago, when a female Police officer in Park Wood, Maidstone, was set upon by a large group of yobs in broad daylight. That incident disgusted me, and so does this one.
Without the Police there would be anarchy.

#32 ·
My idiocy, you clearly can't read, as i never suggested anything about earning respect. But whilst we're on the topic, respect can never be earned back once lost.
So let me re-iterate my stand point again, in no uncertain terms GOOD, GOOD, GOOOOOD they got what they deserved and dont mock my experiences by comparing me to those scumbags locked up in prison, cause I for one aint one of them!

You are happy that 2 police officers (who you dont know) were beaten by a mob of thugs and low life, you applaude that action, that makes you worse than the perpetrators and I hope you never have the misfortune to be in such a situation yourself. You are a disgrace to civilised people everywhere. No matter what has been done to you in the past I cannot believe a civilised human being could condone this action, Im bloody disgusted.

Hi, Rainski:)

I have defended many many posters
in their rights
of freedom of speech and opinion.

I do NOT MOCK YOU,

Though if you could explain to this
simple person,
How the police offended
30 odd persons,
in order for them too assault
said police.

please use this forum to do so,

But if your intention is to seek and
cause comtempt
for both the
police and the laws of
this land.

Then I feel compelled too
say to you,

You would be a sad and bitter
person.
for what reasons I do not know.
that would be for you
to disclose.

John.

Why foolish?
Obviously you're not obliged to divulge anything, but at the moment you're coming across as some sort of nutter...
Some explanation might make people understand why you feel these two officers deserved a kicking for telling an uncouth uneducated chavette to pick up some litter....personally I can't see any reason why, but you have a reason, why not share it?
