Hi Everyone!
Just been thinking about plugging in an ipod to my original Alfa Gt JTD head unit.

It has a nokia bluetooth connection for my phone so i pulled it out tonight for first time to have a wee dander at the back of it for a headphone jack or something like that but no joy!!
:-(.

I dont even mind if I cant charge the ipod but would be nice to plug it straight in.

Can the connection for audio from the nokia handsfree be disconnected and changed to the ipod?

Has anyone tried this or am I on to plums and need to buy the all banging and totally awsome Alpine head unit I used to have in my Subaru?

Or does anyone know of a device that can be plugged into the back of the head unit from alfa or somewhere like that?

I have an FM transmitter but they are ehhhmm rubbish!

Any ideas are greatley apreciated!!!!!

Cheers!

Hi

Iv got one of the leads you buy off ebay. I think there are quite a few different sorts. Mine works fine, it just replaces the CD changer and you can have 10 playlists to scan through. Also the steering wheel controls can be used to flick through the tunes. Its so much better than the FM transmitter. Only drawback is no cd player.

Mine cost about ÂŁ45 and was pretty easy to fit, I just fed the lead through to the ash tray and just rest the ipod in there. It would be really cool if you could get it to go all the way to the armrest, just didn't quite have the cahunas to start pulling any more trim off! Any ideas anyone?
