Can a remapped 2.4 out drag a Giulietta QV?

As it turns out.....er.....no, no it can't.

To the driver of the red Giulietta QV who blew my doors in coming off Denton island onto the M67:

My friend; I salute you! :thumbs:

Shame those road works were there otherwise it would have been interesting to see if the balance shifted as we got closer to....er.....70mph... ;)

Thats like the Giulietta carrying three big blokes as well as the driver.

Hmmm well he definitely pulled away quite effectively - though we were only in the lower gears. It was virtually a standing start up to about 60mph, then unexpected road works got in the way.

My Spider is the older 200 bhp engine. After the initial remap it was 250 bhp and 420 lb ft (had it on the rollers) but had to have it turned down a bit as it was a bit much. Don't know what she puts out now, but would guess more like 235 and 380 lb ft. This combined with her serious lardiness would explain a few things.

I had no idea the Giulettas were so light either.
