Hi fellow Alfa dudes. It's taken me a long time to take the plunge on this one but as the prompt is asking me to introduce myself, here goes. I am the owner of a 166 and am very happy with the service it has given me so far. Very comfortable (main reason for having) and up to now very reliable. It is an X reg, Dec 2000, met grey, and it is a one owner vehicle with only 38,000 miles on the clock. Main gripe with Alfa is lack of decent back up for parts. The Alfa is by no means perfect, scraped on front wing (multi storing car park problem), cills not totally secure due to broken clips (can't source any to renew), engine control light on constantly (thought to be electrical problem as passes emission test no problem and fuel consumption ok) and drivers door central locking not working. I hope I haven't spoken too soon, but I love my car and am going to run it until it gives up the ghost. Just like my wife with her 1989 Honda Accord aerodeck. Once again hello to all from Big Papa.
