I don't think it would be chav looking. IMO it looks better with only the Alfa Romeo badge and the 159 badge.

 

but incorrect badging is a clue to a poor accident repair. But I do like the lack of excessive badging on the Mito ; no engine size

 

IMO de-badging is fine and can look really good in a minimalistic way, re-badging with something that isn't under the bonnet is chav....!

I usually like debadged cars but I hate my de-badged rear end.... photoshop it first if you can.

I've taken the 2.5 and V6 off mine and tbh it looks a lot better. I took them off as most of the "Honda" drivers will get some fright when a big black lump leaves them for dead. It cleans up the rear of the motor and you know what you have under the bonnet so you dont need to be reminded. As said Its like the guys who have "STi" on their 1.6 suburu's .. now that is chavvy

..i pulled up behind a 3.2 GT a while back and it made me smile. reminded me of being a kid and pestering my dad.. "look, a V6, a V6..!"

i wouldn't say it's chavy to take them off, but there's certain badges that should probably be left alone.. you need to know if it's worth rolling down the window pulling away from the lights...!

 

We took ours off cos outside our house we kept finding cigarette butts belonging to people that were looking around the car due to what I would imagine was because of the V6 badge on the back of the car.

 

Going to do it tomorrow and then give the car a good wash and wax..
