Hi guys,
I’m having an issue with my Alfa 159 (2006, 1.9 JTDm 16V 110 kW). I was driving on the speedway with cruise control set to 80 km/h when the engine suddenly stalled. Since then, it won’t start, and I had to tow the car.

I connected it to diagnostics, and these errors came up:

  • P2148-01 Injector bank 1 - General Electrical Failure
  • P2151-01 Injector bank 2 - General Electrical Failure
  • P2009-1C Variable swirl actuator supply voltage - Circuit voltage out of range
  • P0268-00 Cylinder 3 injector - Short circuit to battery
  • P0271-00 Cylinder 4 injector - Short circuit to battery
  • P0265-01 Cylinder 2 injector - General Electrical Failure
  • P0262-00 Cylinder 1 injector - Short circuit to battery

To be sure, I removed the injectors and had them tested – all are in good condition.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? Where should I look next? Could it be a wiring problem, ECU failure, or maybe a relay? Any help is appreciated!
