Hi,
I recently bought a 2011 159 off a member here. Pleased with the car in general but something doesn't feel right when I press the accelerator hard. It feels like there is something missing between 750 and 2200 rpm. Even when in neutral and I plant the right pedal, it takes a few seconds to think about what has happened before revving. Most of my cars have been diesels so I'm pretty familiar with how they should behave.
The car.
Its got 150,000 on it and apparently has been remapped to ~200 with the EGR shut for 2/3 of it's life
Things I've noticed:
Internetting tells me that the following may all contribute to this
thanks,

Things I've noticed:
- rev delay in the low range regardless of load
- have to do multiple downshift here I would only expect to do one
- Massive difference in fuel consumption between 60mph (nearly 60 mpg) and 70mph (closer to 40 mpg)
Internetting tells me that the following may all contribute to this
- stuck egr
- bad MAF
- dirty MAP (was minging now clean)
- corroded injector connections (only 1.9?)
- cleaned MAP (not much change)
- unplugged MAF (not much difference)
- there was a crack in the crank vent pipe so I installed an oil catch can there in it's place (noticeable increase in fuel economy)
thanks,
