air flow meter?

 

Thought about it.. since i have a kn open air filter. Could it be that it has been "filled" with oil after i cleaned the filter? I was careful with oil`ing it, and i did let it "dry" for an hour.

Is there a way to check if the air flow meter is the sinner? can i disconnect it?

If i disconnect it, it will go into a pre-made program, right?

My thoughts; Then it will give a certain amount of fuel at a pre-set rpm. Which will not be the correct amount, since i`ve got a different air filter system etc. But i should notice a change.
But will that exclude or solve anything?

 

Dont know mate but when I had problems with my MAF I just disconnected it and it ran fine. Best thing to do is do the same and have a drive and see if the problem is still there.
