Well tested my tyres today and found them to be 35F & 32R....i'm on 17"'s and checked the manual and they were on the low side.

Took them up to 37F & 36R and what a big difference - car seemed much smoother and sat on the road better, even seemed a tad quicker on acceleration but that may have been in the mind. May even improve mpg

What are other owners riding on ?

I always like my drive a little firmer if possible.

What do people feel is the optimum setup ?

I run mine with 32-34 psi deliberately, I prefer the ride and handling that way, I only go up to the recommended pressures for more than 2 people.

The tyre type will have an effect here - I use P Zero Rossos, which have quite a stiff sidewall, if using something like an Eagle F1 then I would probably want to run more. Experimentation is the only way ahead...

Manual states 35 for the front and 33 for the rear on 17s, which is what I keep mine at. The ride is firm enough for my liking, so I'm disinclined to run them any firmer.
