..... cream crackered? My GT JTDm has always taken a while to warm up, but having read a few threads on here I think this is normal. It always gets to 90° and stays there regardless of whether I'm moving or stood still. Then this cold and icy morning it got to 80° and just stayed there. It did eventually climb to 90°, but only after I'd been stood still in traffic for 10 minutes.

The car has only done 18,000 miles. Is this a knackered thermostat, or just cold weather?

my stat was only a tiny bit open , it would rise to 90 in traffic then within a mile of constant running on a cold day be under 50c

so if mine was at 80 i wouldnt have bothered changing it but I would keep an eye on it
