Sud Passed the MoT today! happy days!

It had a mini tune up before It passed as well - one side was running rich by 6 turns of the screw and the other side was running rich by 2 turns.

Can't wait to get back out in it! Hasn't been MoT for 2 months - or ran out shortly after Brooklands

Hope you have better luck than me, I got the Green Machine through the MoT three weeks ago, went to NAD and now I'm off the road again

Hi Brit - blowing oil (see cylinder head gasket thread). I lost so much on the trip to NAD (only 90 miles round trip) I daren't put any more miles on the clock. Besides, I've run out of oil

Use the top gear trick/invention. In their case it was the radiator losing water. He had a barrel of water on the front passenger seat and a hand pump while he was driving and pumping water continuously into the radiator!! Lol so funny

maybe an oil barrel and hand pump as you drive along?:lol::lol::lol:

Hi Chris - unfortunately there isn't enough space between the chassis rails to clear the 16v cam carriers, so I am stuck with the 8v. But you can still get some interesting performance out of the single cam engine... I have a plan :thumbs:

Hi Ratty - I know! Green Machine has only had two outings this year, which is a bit frustrating. I should have been out and about after NAD, but a massive engine oil leak has sidelined me again!

So I'm renewing the LH cylinder head gaskets and then maybe I can get out for a bit later in the year. I saw your Sud at Brookie (very nice), but I was car-less at the time
