The new pioneer 2din units (700/900, 710/910, f10) don't have an IR remote anaymore, only wired.
If you still want an infrared remote, you can now get an adapter:

admittedly, who regularly uses an IR remote control these days?! about the only people i regularly see do it, are competitors in SPL/dB Drag competitions, where they control their headunit's volume from outside the car.

However, not everybody has the buttons on the steeringwheel for remote control, as they are optional with Alfa.
This way you can at least use one of the ir-remotes, also available for mounting on your steeringwheel:

I found the casio programmable IR remote watch. (Minus strap)
made a good remote for the Kenwood MP3 player I had in the Brera.

(The supplied one was frikkin' HUGE!)

meh, anything that isn't elegant (looks nice, functions well...much like Alfas! :lol: ), i don't like. yeah, i know, it's subjective. but i'd rather just reach across to the headunit controls instead of a fugly add-on steering remote.
