If I flick the switch on my GTV to wash the screen immediately after starting the engine, they won't turn off. The wipers keep going and the screen wash keeps spraying until you turn off the engine and then they operate normally when you re-start the engine.

Does anyone else have this problem and is there anything that can be done about it? Or should I just wait a few seconds after starting the engine instead?

Happened once to in my Ph2 Spider TS. I was having battery / starting problems but not occurred again. I turned the engine off and it corrected itself.

Not heard of this before. My complete guess would be the wiper control box under the dash.

Thanks for the replies. It is a minor issue but I'll look at the wiper control box at the weekend. Where exactly is it and what does it look like?
