It was raining yesterday and my wife was driving when the wipers started to go really slow and then stopped in the middle of the screen.
Then suddenly started working fine again.
Then today for no reason (it wasn't raining and i didn't touch the wiper controls) they started creeping up the screen and stopped in the middle.???
There was a humming noise and when i pulled over to investigate the noise stopped and the wipers are dead now.
I pushed them back to park but moving the control stalk does nothing, i checked the fuse and it's fine and not blown?
Could the motor be blown?
Anyone got any ideas?
I must live in one of the wettest parts of the country so i really need them working soon.

Do you have a multi meter? a simple continuity test would tell you if the motor was working or not.
