I have located some winter tyres, but now I need some steel wheels to fit them to. Anyone know of a cheap source for steel wheels that are compatible (PCD, offset etc) ? They don't have to be Alfa sourced ones.

Thanks,

Pete

You may struggle to get cheap ones. My father has just tried this (for a Renault), and ended up getting them from a dealer as he could find no one who sold them.

I know Mytyres.co.uk sell them with tyres, you could try asking them to supply the wheels only..

Is the Giulietta a 5 x 98PCD?

Alfa 156s had steel wheels with 5 x 98PCD.. so you might venture to the local scrappers and have a look.

You could probably get some tatty ones blasted and resprayed for not much, if you want them to look better.

Otherwise.. how much is a new steel wheel from the dealer? Can't be tooooooo dear, can they?

No, Giulietta is 5x110... And it would be a disgrace to put her on steel wheels.

I think the days of getting cheap steel wheels from the dealers or from anywhere else might be a thing of the past.
Thanks to no doubt the increased demand for them after the last few winters ;)
