My Sprint is off to the paint shop soon for new wings, tailgate and a general tidy up.

I am fitting a pair of brand new front wings but want to prepare and treat the inner faces first. I have decided against wheel arch liners at this stage and will waxoil them on completion.

Can anyone advise on what to paint and treat the wings with before I deliver them for fitting/painting? :)

Why have you decided against wheel arch liners?

Every single modern car has them for a reason - to prevent the paint and the metal wing from being hit and damaged from road debris - put them on man!

Opinions on this forum are divided on liners.

The main reason is that it didn't have 'em fitted... and I can't get hold of 'em.

If I could I would think again!

Fair enough - if you havent got them, then you cant fit them!

Unbelievably i threw a pair in the skip last week when i was breaking a Sprint.......

Have you tried Justsuds?
