I've removed a screen from an Alfetta with the help of an ex "Autowindcreens" guy and we managed to crack that one!!

The new screens are bonded in so I think its a job for your local windscreen specialist.

They are bonded in and difficult to get out. They are also the same screen as a Fiat Tipo, just for information!

Bought my pride and joy to the Local auto screen place today to have the original screen replaced (1995). They had the replacement Splintex screen in stock, and said the job would only take an hour. Rang me an hour later to tell me he had removed the screen,(perfect - no cracks - just stone chipped) only to discover to screen listed of the 155 was for a 145. The original burst on removal. I suggested a Tipo screen , but he said that the mirror block on the screen for the Tipo would not suit, the 155 mirror hangs down, and the insurance plate is clipped up behind the Mirror on the screen. No car till tommorrow midday. Only advantage - I remove the intermittent block and cleaned out all the grease- no more judder please!!!!
