Every morning when I get into my car the windscreen is misted on the inside, what's the best way to stop this happening? Where should the settings be on the fan settings to avoid this? What exactly does recirculation switch do?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Guys, I've checked all the seals everything seems intact, its no other window other than the windscreen. The climate control is the manual version???? Oh, carpets dry too............
Some maintenance for next weekend :thumbs:Check the scuttle drain below the windscreen. If the drain is blocked there will be a build up of water which can get into the cabin if too bad.
You will need to remove the scuttle trim below the windscreen to check. The drain is a hole about an inch in diameter in the centre of the scuttle. Mine was blocked and the scuttle full of dirty water. I noticed condensation above the air vents on the windscreen for a while but ended up with very wet mats and carpets after recent heavy rain.
After clearing all the crap out and clearing the drain (and drying the mats and carpets) all is now OK.
Nope, just done this it's clear!Check the scuttle drain below the windscreen. If the drain is blocked there will be a build up of water which can get into the cabin if too bad.

Where's the pollen filter?replacing the pollen filters will clear it quickly, assuming you've currently got manky old ones.
the recirculation switch does what it says on the tin! recirculates air inside the car, rather than drawing it from outside.
I would think so, because its easier for moisture to enter the cabinWould having no pollen filters in cause misting up
