Well its been a while since i've been on here. My car situation is dire at the mo. The saab 9-3 has lost clutch pressure and gunked the engine making it noisey and a near write off. So thats going as spares repairs and the GTV well well what can i say. The list gets longer and my pockets get emptier.

With this in mind i am tidying up for a spring sale. Maybe 1 more BIAMF to make it 6 or 7??

Just did the mot and the floor was buggered. Got a V DUb specialist whos used to a little rust, to sort for me and my mechanic to sort a cv boot, or drop link and a pair of tyres. And not forgetting a rear wheel bearing. Just over £1k later it has a fresh ticket!!

Now, searching for a wing mirror as some scrote kicked mine off and a fix for a little laquer peel. then a fluids service and bye bye. Not sure what i'll get for her(T 99 GTV V6 with BMC CDA, £1200 custom quad with sports cats, Powerflex rear. red with tan and aero kit.errmmm ohh and GTA flywheel and clutch...slotted front discs, think thats it actual and a box of reciept worth £16k and a full history and mot set)

But i'm thinking i'm heading for a 53 plate wrx maybe a 51 plate sti to follow this up. Thought about a GTA in 147 or 156 format but couldn't stretch for a good'un.

Well getting a little emotional now but common sense is shining through (a little)

thought about it for a bit. don't want a chav'un with the obligatory coffee table for a spoiler. saw this or this but would swap the spoiler on the 1st one for a low one.

Surely too own this car the big spoiler is a must . Don't listen to them, the car says outside now with or without it . Lovely cars though but the 1st one is the looker but I wouldnt touch it with them miles on the clock. These cars have high yearly maintenance costs as well.

Since Imprezas are a dime a dozen in NZ (well, about half that price) you could buy two for what you'd get for the GTV here. But if you managed to spend that much on the Alfa, I think you'll be spending moonbeams on the Scoobie - seats, wheels, intercooler/hybrid turbo, cambelt changes (which make the Alfa V6 look simple!), new shocks and springs, paint job, big exhaust, subs and amps, new headlights, body kit, etc.

None of the above.well maybe the turbo but otherwise standard.playing the sensible cars here as I need to replace the family load lugger and the alfa and get a car that does both for under £4k passing much older beemers and Audi.there's not much left. My budget would only stretch to a tatty GTA. So browsed the rest and fancied the look of a WRX but no Chav just understated with a bigger turbo to put it over the standard bhp
