I'm seeing a lot of this all the time, nearly had the car sideswiped a few times by them.

When you are at a junction with multiple lanes, and say you are in the lane to go straight ahead, the car in the left lane turning left or the right lane turning right (or sometimes both simultaneously!!) will swing towards your lane to make their turn.

Why? It's not like their 316i is an HGV, they aren't towing a trailer or anything or trying to do a Scandinavian flick.

I can provide a diagram for those who are confused as to what I am on about.

Yes.

I have tried to demonstrate this with one of my famous diagrams.

In pic1, I am in my GTV to go ahead, the Mini is in the left turn lane.

In pic2, you can see the Mini goes into my lane to turn left nearly taking my side off.

This is somewhat exaggerated, but I'm doing the best I can with a GTA London picture set and a clipart GTV.

Well look on the bright side, if he had gone into you that police car would have witnessed the whole thing:thumbs:

This is true. But could a Police mk1 Escort be able to catch a Mini Cooper driving off? :)

Love the pictures

Surely you would just chase after them, sort them out with a barrage of various weaponry, finish them of with a rocket launcher, then just steal the nearest available pristine GTV.

followed up by celebrating your victory with a (soon to be terminated) prostitute.
(I'm being a bit general, I've never played GTA London)

B.O.T

it's a bit similar to the ones who swerve to avoid a car sitting a junction, even though the car is behind the lines,
or to avoid a lorry in the opposite lane even though it's not over the lines,
:***: knows what they would do if both occurred at the same time, probably stick it in the hedge just to be safe

You think tgat's bad?

In France the car in the turn left lane
will go straight on and the one in the
lane to go straight on will attempt to
turn left and change into the lefthand
lane whilst turning.

This is true car parks are fun , but even a GTV can negotiate a traffic light junction turn without taking 2 lanes about it!

I ended up with a queue behind me in the multistorey in Brighton, ever since I park on the road by the marina and walk down :lol:

You are right though, if I can make a turn in the GTA why can't a bloody corsa

Definately with you on this one, stupid woman in some micro-mini (why is it always small cars?) did exactly the same to me this morning when attempting a perfectly simple left turn. My main gripe is they are always totally oblivious to everything else around them.

I have a road near me that is like a huge roundabout it has straights and 90 degree right turns, and goes round a church, when I'm in the right lane and get to a 90 degree bend I can go round at 30 on my side of the road. Whilst doing this I am overtaking the car in the left lane who is also doing a 90 right turn, they have a larger radius so why can't they stay in their bloody lane  and not need some of mine as well.
