Afternoon gents, i have an intermitent starting problem with my 147 Selespeed....occasionally it will not start, it turns over but nothing happens,i leave the car for 15-20 minutes then it will start, this is begining to happen more frequently, i have the car booked in for Friday, the garage said it sounds like a relay issue???? now my question is, which relay might it be and are they exspensive?........please feel free to hazard a guess at what you think it might be.

Cheers Nick

When it doesn't start, is the engine already hot/warm?
If yes and it restarts when cool, you need a new TDC/Crank sensor.

I think David C has mentioned the pump relay,(red one aside the battery?? ) can be a problem, or maybe the pump itself may work intermittently. Do a post search, for Sele' problems, you may find the solenoid and pump info there?:):
