twin cam? As in Twink before Twin sparks etc? Think Bertone GTV etc...

I would have to agree with the twin cam but there is no sign of the side sump, but maybe they have altered it.

He may have. If you follow the links from one of those pages you will see that he put Ducati heads on a Harley block and made his own desmo gear setup :wow:

The 4 clylinder one looks like an 8V twin spark to me. Unless its a fiat Twin cam incorrectly labled as an Alfa engine...

Is that not the twin cam as fitted to 116 series cars, i.e. essentially the same as the 105 series' engine but with the extravagant winged sump replaced by a more modest design? Not a ts version, as the shape of the head casting is wrong, visible where the exhaust manifold joins.

It could also be a 16V lampredi as fitted to the 155 Q4, but without the turbo.


The cam cover looks similar.

Its an early 8v twin cam from the original spider etc. As for the v6. Hope the cam belt don't snap or the rider would find himself legless in the bad meaning of teh word!
